MemoSing is a music-based memory game. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Data We Collect

• Account data: email (or auth provider ID), display name.
• Gameplay data: scores, streaks, difficulty level, progress metrics, achievement flags.
• Preferences: sound volume, theme, last played level (stored locally or with your profile).
• Technical data: anonymized device/browser info, performance timing, crash diagnostics.

How We Use Data

• Authenticate you and keep sessions active.
• Display leaderboards and personal progress.
• Balance difficulty and improve game design.
• Diagnose bugs and performance issues.

Local Storage & Cookies

We use cookies and/or local storage to keep you signed in, remember settings (volume, theme, difficulty), and reduce repeated network calls. Disabling them may limit functionality.

Analytics & Third-Party Services

We may use privacy‑focused analytics (e.g., Google Analytics or a self-hosted alternative) to understand aggregate usage: session counts, feature adoption, and error rates. These tools may process truncated IP address, user-agent, and event timestamps. No gameplay content (melodies) is profiled for marketing.

If crash reporting is enabled (e.g., Sentry), stack traces and minimal environment context may be sent to diagnose issues.

No Advertising Profiling

MemoSing currently does not use personalized advertising networks. If this changes, this Policy will be updated before activation.

Data Retention

• Account + gameplay data: retained while your account is active.
• Aggregated analytics: retained in anonymized form for trend analysis.
• Crash reports: purged periodically after analysis.

Your Choices & Controls

• Update display name and preferences in-app (where available).
• Request account and data deletion by contacting: orispok@gmail.com.
• Clear local storage/cookies in your browser to reset local preferences.

Children

MemoSing is not directed to children under 13. If we learn a child has provided personal data, we will delete it.

Security

We apply reasonable technical safeguards (transport encryption, scoped access). No system is perfectly secure.

International Transfers

Data may be processed on servers in other jurisdictions. By using the service you consent to such transfers where lawful.

Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
